Shimla : Tremors shook parts of Himachal Pradesh Friday due to an earthquake of moderate intensity which struck the neighbouring hill state of Uttarakhand .
The met office said an earthquake of 5 magnitude was felt in the wee hours for about 45 seconds .
The epicentre was near Chamoli in Uttarakhand .
