Shimla : A mild earthquake struck some parts of Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district late Wednesday . No loss of life has been reported .
According to the Indian Metrological Department the intensity of the quake was slight and measured at 3. 5 on the richter scale .
The quake took place at 9:47 P.M. when people were celebrating Diwali .
