Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Revenue Minister, Thakur Gulab Singh, in a meeting of H.P. Wakf Board decided that all Wakf properties of the state need to be identified and mutated under H.P. Wakf Board within three months.
He said that the Board will manage and protect these properties from encroachers and administer the income.
Moreover, proper norms need to be laid down to provide monthly financial aid by the Board for construction of schools, Madarasas and mosque etc. A grant of Rs. seven lacs has been provided to 103 mosques, he added.
