Gazetted holidays on Rakshabandhan and Bhai Dhuj for women

Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Government has issued a notification under section 25 of Negotiable Instruments Act 1881 that it will be a holiday for female employees on Rakshabandhan and Bhai Dhuj i.e. 16th August, 2008 and 30th October, 2008, respectively.
These gazetted holidays are for females whether daily wager or regular employee, in all Government Offices/Boards/Corporations/Educational Institutions in the state as per declaration of the government.
