New Delhi, June 26 (IANS) King of Thailand Bhumibol Adulyadej Wednesday condoled the loss of lives in the Uttarakhand floods and landslides tragedy.
In a condolence message addressed to President Pranab Mukherjee, Adulyadej said: “The queen and I are deeply saddened by reports of devastating floods which have caused immense loss of human lives and heavy damage to infrastructure and property in the northern part of your country.”
“We wish to extend our sincere sympathy and condolences to your excellency, and through you, to all those who have suffered loss and bereavement in this natural disaster,” the king said in his message.
