Shimla: On the request of Dr. Ram Lal Markandey, Lahaul and Spiti MLA, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal assured that National Talent Merit Scholarship Examinations of SCERT, scheduled for 21st December, 2008, will be postponed so that maximum students of tribal areas can participate in it.
As well as very soon the helicopter services will be started to airlift the people to and fro from the Lahaul valley during the period when road connectivity remains disrupted to the valley and other tribal areas wherever such services are required, he said. Along with regular flights additional flights will also be carried to the tribal areas to airlift patients etc. to the hospitals.
