No New District, but new Rep. for Leftout Districts: Dhumal

Shimla:
Contradicting the mentions in some news items of creating new district in the State, Prof. Prem Kumar Dhumal called it baseless and far from reality news.

On being asked about expansion of Cabinet he said that the State Government was committed to give representation to the left out areas in the State Cabinet wherein districts of Mandi and Una were likely to be given representation.

He said all this on the occasion of dedication of he New Minister’s Bhawan in the Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Complex, Tapovan, near Dharamshala, which will be completed at a cost of Rs. 2.25 crore. Yet about Rs. 13 crore has been spent on the construction of the structure and some left out work and land scaping etc. was being given finishing touches so that it is completed in near future.
