New Delhi, June 6 (IANS) The demand for electricity in the capital rose to an unprecedented high of 5,653 MW Thursday, said a Delhi government official.
The earlier highest peak demand was 5,642 MW July 5, 2012.
“The demand of 5,653 MW was successfully met without any obstacle. Delhi government has directed DISCOMs to ensure uninterrupted power supply,” he added.
