Shimla: Two persons died on the spot when the small car in which they were traveling came off the road and rolled into the valley beyond Chopal in the interiors of Shimla district, late on Thursday.
Sanjay Gazta (35) and Prem Lal (42) both residents of Chopal region, who were government employees have died in the accident, police here said.
The maruti car which they were traveling in after leaving Chopal town, (about 160 Km from here) went off the hill road in the dead of night, killing the occupants.
The accident was only noticed in the morning when passing vehicles reported it to the authorities.
Cause of the accident could not be immediately ascertained. The police after registering a case are investigating the case.
