The Spice Boyz, crowned Windward Islands’ football champions last month, climbed 20 spots to 121 in the global rankings and 16 in the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Football (CONCACAF).
The movement is owed in part to the two victories in the Windward Islands Football Association (WIFA) Tournament in St Vincent.
Grenada defeated the host 1-0 and St Lucia 2-1 to win the three-team tournament following the withdrawal of Dominica after the tragic death of the coach and a player a few days before the kick-off.
St Vincent had the biggest dropped in points (35) and ranks (10) to 131.
Mexico lead CONCACAF in the rankings at 16, followed by the United States 29, Panama 38, Costa Rica 48 and Honduras rounding off the top 50.
Jamaica are at 53 and sixth in CONCACAF as the top team from the Caribbean Football Union (CFU).
