Islamabad, May 5 (IANS) At least 10 militants were killed in northwest Pakistan’s tribal area of Upper Orakzai during security operations while 22 suspects were held during search operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Geo News reported Sunday.
The security forces bombed the militants’ hideouts in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas’s (FATA) Orakzai agency, killing 10 militants and destructing three hideouts.
In a separate incident, a house-to-house search operation was conducted in FATA’s Hangu town following a tip-off. It led to 22 suspected people, including a militant commander Bilal, being taken into custody.
