Tokyo, April 30 (IANS) Japan’s industry ministry said Tuesday in a preliminary report that the country’s industrial production rose a seasonally adjusted 0.2 percent in March from the previous month.
The index of output at factories and mines stood at 89.8 against the base of 100 for 2005, said the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
The index of industrial shipments grew 0.3 percent to 91.6 while that of inventories was down 0.2 percent to 102.4, reported Xinhua.
