Ghaziabad, April 25 (IANS) A 35-year-old-woman was gang-raped in a moving car here by her husband and two other relatives Thursday, police said.
The woman, a mother of two, alleged that her husband, Sandeep, his brother Bijendra, and their brother-in-law Narendra raped her in a moving car in Sahibabad, while a fourth person looked on.
Sandeep had asked the woman, his wife, to collect Rs.25,000 cash from him from Mohan Nagar. He had taken the money, which was for their children’s school fees from her house in Sanjay Nagar locality April 16, police said.
At about 9 a.m. Sandeep arrived in an Alto car at the designated place in Mohan Nagar, and dragged her into the vehicle. She was raped in turns by the three people, including her husband for two hours, and dumped near Hindon Air Force Station, police said.
The fourth accomplice, a disabled man, remained a spectator during the entire period.
“On the woman’s complaint, a case under section 376 has been registered against three accused people. The woman has been sent for medical examination. The police are yet to arrest the culprits,” said the city Superintendent of Police Shiv Shankar Yadav.
