Thiruvananthapuram, April 25 (IANS) Ernst & Young Global Services (EYGS) Thursday opened its third Kerala facility at the KINFRA Film and Video Park here.
The facility was inaugurated by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy along with Minister for Home and Vigilance Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, and Minister for IT and Industries P.K. Kunhalikutty.
The new Global Shared Services (GSS) and Innovation Center would help EY enhance service delivery and provide quality support to internal clients beyond borders. It will accommodate about 1,000 employees.
Ernst &Young Global Shared Services Kerala (EY GSS Kerala) commenced operations in 2002 at Technopark and opened its second facility at Infopark, Kochi, in 2011.
“The energy, enthusiasm and the positive attitude of our people here have contributed most to this exciting growth. We have a highly skilled talent pool of 1,800 people at our Kerala offices. This figure has tripled from when the Kerala center became part of our global organization in 2010,” said Tim Eddy, Global Vice Chair – Global Services.
