Gurgaon, April 24 (IANS) A woman and her two accomplices were sentenced to life imprisonment Wednesday by a district court for killing her husband and cutting off his genitals.
District and Sessions Judge B.B. Prasun convicted Nagina, 36, her associates Satender alias Sonu, 35, and Arvind, 23, on murder charges on circumstantial evidence and formal witnesses, comprising policemen.
“The evidences and circumstances taken together clearly establish all three accused guilty as the perpetrators of the murder,” the court said.
The court passed the order on a case April 20, 2012, involving the murder of 40-year-old Mohammad Sanaulla Khan of Samsi village in Nepal’s Mahottari district, who was living here with his wife Nagina and son Mubarak Khan.
Sanaulla Khan’s body was found at Jhajjar gate near chattri, bearing multiple wounds by sharp objects. His genitals had been chopped off.
Nagina, Satender and Arvind were arrested from their rented accommodation.
Nagina had illicit relations with Sonu and Arvind, which Sanaulla Khan used to oppose.
The judgment came on the first information report lodged on the complaint of Nagina’s son Mubarak Khan.
