New Delhi, April 9 (IANS) It was a warm Tuesday in Delhi, with clouds appearing in the sky for some hours in the evening, as the maximum temperature was recorded at 37.8 degrees Celsius – four notches above average. The Met department forecast rain Wednesday.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 21.7 degrees Celsius – two notches above average, while the humidity wavered between a high and low of 64 and 22 percent, respectively.
The day began with a clear sky but the bright sun gave way to clouds toward the evening, a Met officials said.
“Partly cloudy sky and light rain are expected Wednesday,” said the official of India Meteorological Department.
Wednesday’s maximum and minimum temperature are likely to hover around 36 and 21 degrees Celsius, respectively.
