Lucknow, April 2 (IANS) Nine people were killed and over two dozen injured Tuesday when the tractor trolley in which they were going home from a religious ceremony fell into a deep roadside gorge in Uttar Pradesh, police said.
The dead include four women, three children and two men. The incident took place in Kona area in Sonebhadra district, some 400 km from here, police said.
Superintendent of Police Ram Bahadur Yadav told IANS that the incident took place when the tractor driver lost control.
