Shimla:To strengthen medical education in the states two medical college, the government today sanctioned 133 posts of registrars.
Chief Secretary Ravi Dhingra informed that 69 positions of Registrars for Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla (IGMC) and 64 posts for RP Government Medical College Tanda were approved by the cabinet today.
Other that the posts of registrars, the cabinet also approved creation of 8 posts of Assistant Professors and 8 posts of Associate Professors at IGMC, Shimla. Upgrading of two positions from Assistant Professors to Associate Professors was also approved.
