Shimla: The hills of Himachal Pradesh experienced warm weather Friday, with Una town recording a high of 40.8 degrees Celsius, an official said here.
“The weather was mainly dry and there has been no appreciable change in maximum and minimum temperatures in the past 24 hours,” said a Met official.
Shimla, which saw a drizzle in the morning, recorded a maximum of 25.4 degrees Celsius, three degrees above average for this time of the year.
Dharamsala, headquarters of the Tibetan government-in-exile, recorded 32.6 degrees Celsius, 3.3 notches above average.
The met department said there could be rain or thundershowers Saturday in some parts of the state.
