Shimla : The CPIM today reacted sharply to the remark of the ruling BJP calling the CPM a ‘B team of the Congress’ as it was criticising the BJP’s in ability to further lower the prices of cement in the state .
Without naming the BJP leader who made the remark , the state CPM leader Tikender Panwar told reporters his party strongly ridicules the statement .
“For the last four years the BJP has been protecting the interests of cement companies in the state , how can the party shy away from this reality and react to our comments in such a childish manner ,†Panwar said .
“In fact the BJP is the B team of the Congress for following anti-people policies in the state and the centre,†he said .
“The CPM has already vowed at a recent rally in Mandi to thoroughly expose the BJP government in the state for its failure on all fronts ,†Panwar said .
“Instead of having a debate on issues the BJP should desist from making ridiculous statements ,†he said .
