Shimla: V.S.Kokje the Governor of Himachal Pradesh laid the foundation stone of Samanvay Yog Vedant Kendra at Fagu near Shimla today. Nivrit Shankaracharya Jagat Guru Swami Satya Mitranand Giriji Maharaj is setting up this Kendra under the aegis of Bharat Mata Janhit Trust, Sapt Sarovar, Haridwar.
Swami Satya Mitranand Giriji Maharaj and Swami Govind Dev Giriji Maharaj delivered religious discourses.
Kokje spoke few lines about the ashram and said that setting up such ashrams in devbhumi will promote religious tourism and provide fitness awareness among people through Yoga.
