Shimla: To drive penetration into the saturated Himachal mobile phone users markets, Idea cellular today announced introduction of pay per second plan as well as offered a tariff plan of 40 paisa pulse for a local a 60 paisa for all other networks in the country.
The new tariff plans will offer more flexibility and freedom of calling to all categories of users – both low and high end – by offering lowest call rates in the market, a company spokesman stated.
As per the innovative and affordable tariff plan titled Super Saral, IDEA subscribers can make local calls at 40 paisa per minute and STD at 60 paisa per minute on any other mobile and landline network in the country. To avail the reduced tariff plans, existing IDEA prepaid subscribers can purchase a special voucher priced at Rs. 26, and new subscribers for Rs. 48.
IDEA will also offer its customers the option of paying per second for calls made, through its new ‘Super Second’ plan. IDEA subscribers availing this plan will get to make all Local and STD calls on any network in India, at the lowest tariff of 1 paisa per second. To avail the per second tariff plan, existing IDEA subscribers can purchase a special voucher priced at Rs. 24, whereas new subscribers can get it for Rs. 49.
Mobile consumers in Himachal Pradesh will now get to choose from a wide bouquet of new tariff plans being introduced by IDEA Cellular. The innovative tariff structure blurs the line between STD and Local calling, and mobile and landline networks.

The new tariff vouchers will be available at all retail outlets, My Idea Showrooms and Idea Points in Himachal.
