Shimla: M/S Weikfield Food Private Limited of Pune comes to Himachal Pradesh at Nalagarh, Solan. Weikfield Products Company is one of the leading food companies in India. Himachal Pradesh Governor, Prabha Rau, inaugurated the factory, today.
Apart from other food products Weikfeild Foods is famous for producing organic tea. Their organic tea bagged the International Food Standard DNV (Det Norske Veritas) the first Sincert accredited IFS (International Food Standard) certificate in India.
Speaking over the occasion Rau lauded the social work being undertaken by the M/s Weikfield Food Private Limited and added that others should take inspiration from the company. Industrial units should take up their social responsibility seriously and involve themselves in humanitarian endeavours and dedicate themselves for the welfare of poor and industrial units should also work for protection of environment and undertake special activities to achieve the objective, she added.
