Dharamshala: Lest any poor person is deprived of food in the district, the district administration of Kangra has prepared packets of essential items that would be distributed across the district to all the needy persons.
Rakesh Prajapati, the deputy commissioner said the organisations and individuals interested in joining the administration were welcome to do so.
Emergency Medicines To Be Door Delivered
He said that Emergency Medicine would be available around the clock at 20 specified chemist shops in the district. He also released public numbers over WhatsApp for home delivery of medicines for critical illness.
Regarding availability of LP Gas during the 21 days of lockdown Prajapati said, “We talked to DC Hoshiarpur and supply of HP gas has resumed from today. We have sufficient stock. But no hoarding in houses would be allowed.”
The public is allowed to go out to purchase essential commodities on foot in their localities daily from 8 to 11 am, said the deputy commissioner.
