Dharamshala: One of the two drug traffickers Sanjeev Kumar s/o Darshan Sharma VPO Dari, Teh Dharamshala was caught with 701 capsules of Spasmoproxivon plus and 16 tablets of Nitrosun.
Mr S Gandhi SP Kangra said in Dharamshala,” the accused revealed during his interrogation that he has been addict of drugs since last many years. For which his parents had admitted him in Rehab centre too but after some time he again resorted to drugs.
Earlier he used to have drugs from local dealers but since Local police have caught local dealers, it bacame difficult for him to get drugs locally, so he used to go to Delhi for procurement.
He purchased capsules from one Medical Store in Munerika. It is very easy to get medicines from Delhi. In south Delhi almost every medical store people keep these drugs….”
Mr. S Gandhi Sp Kangra further said that second accused Deepak Rana was caught with 1.320 gm brown and 1.820 gm heroin. He buys the drugs from Loha Mandi, near Dwarka, east Delhi. SP said that he also revealed that since it is difficult to get drugs in Himachal.
He had to resort to Delhi Loha market is again a den of all kinds of Drugs. He shared details which will be investigated from Loha market and can supply drugs on a simple call.
Sp said , “Both of them used to travel throughout by Volvo buses as general passengers are not frisked .But District Police have been keeping Sharp vigil on any activities related to drug peddling and they where caught last night by police at police post Ranitaal Under police station Haripur.” The police interrogation is still on.
