Dharamshala: To celebrate the beauty of the Dhauladhar mountains, national famed artists who were at the week long art camp here and McLeodganj have created a wall painting at the Hotel Hills Heaven on the Dharamkot Road, Mecloadganj to mark the event.
The wall painting has been created by Ms. Nishat Rehman, who is a Delhi based visual artist and a passionate travel photographer.
The art camp was conducted by Nijh World Society in association with North Central Cultural Zone, an organistation under the union ministry of culture. The art camp was held to inspire artists with beauty and the essence of nature, and facilitate them to create art works.
Around a dozen well known artists from North East India took part in this Camp. Mrs Harishansha the organizer of the camp said,” The artists have created live paintings in the camp.
Nijh World Society regularly brings together artists, art lovers, curators and critiques to share experience and for creating art works. The society also promotes artisans from all walks of life to exhibit their work.
