Dharamshala: To put the Himachal Vidhan Sabha at Tapovan, Dharamshala to more use, the union ministry of parliamentary affairs, Delhi has in principle agreed to set up the National E-Vidhan Academy at Tapovan, Brij Bihari Butail, speaker of Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha disclosed here today.
He said that Himachal has become the first state in the country to introduce paperless e-woking at both its assembly houses in Dharamshala and at Shimla.
After examining its successful working, the central government has given its permission to establish the National E-vidhan Academy at Dharamshala, which would train MPs, MLAs and the staff associated with the legislative assemblies of different states across India.
To prepare the draft of National E -Vidhan Academy a high level meeting of the state officials shall be held at Dharamshala on 16th July, 2016, said Butail.
