Dharamshala: Hall owners of a film theatre in Hamirpur township were taken by surprise when they noticed that there were only two, a husband and wife, who had turned up to watch a sold out show of Sultan, a Salman Khan starrer film that was released today.
Amit Thakur, managing director of Gurukul, a Mall that houses the theatre said, “we expected a full capacity of 120 people to attend the show but only found that Shankar Musafir had turned up with his wife Geetanjali for the first day first show of the film Sultan.
Musafir had booked the entire theatre in advance.
“Musafir, who got married only in April, returned from abroad for this show,” said Amit Thakur. He booked the entire hall as a gift show to Geetanjali, his wife ,who is a fan of Salam Khan.”
