69th Himachal day celebrations.
Himachal Pradesh celebrated its 69th Foundation Day 15th April to much fanfare and celebrations. It was on 15th April 1948 that the first Himachal Day was celebrated.
On the occasion of Himachal Day, various cultural programs were held in all over the state. The pictures below reflect happiness of people celebrating the day in different parts of the state.

Students of Government Senior Secondary School Portmore, Mount Shivalik Public School Jubbarhatti, E.C.I. Chalet Day School, Monal Public School Sanjauli and more schools, performed on the occasion.
Himachal Assembly Speaker BBL Butel hoisted the national flag at Ridge on the occasion of the Day and took the salute at the march past.
Hamirpur also hosted the magnificent event on the occasion of Himachal Day.
Revenue and Law Minister Kaul Singh Thakur hoisted the national flag and took the salute at the attractive march past at Hamirpur.
Artists presented lovely cultural performances during Himachal Day at Kullu district.

On this occasion, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Colonel Pratibha Singh took the salute at the march past in Nahan district.
Cultural performances were held at the Police ground in Dharamshala to celebrate Himachal Day. Excise and Taxation Minister Prakash Chaudhary graced the event as chief guest.
