Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Working Journalists Associations today condoled the sad demise of Ms. Sheela Kanwer, mother of The Hindu state correspondent, Mr. Kanwar Yogendra here yesterday.
In a press communique issued here today General Secretary of Himachal Pradesh Working Journalists Association Mr. M L Verma, and President and General Secretary of Himachal Pradesh New Media Association Mr Ravinder Makhaik and Mr. Baldev S Chauhan condoled sad demise of Ms. Sheela Singh Kanwar here on Wednesday (22.4.2015).
The departed soul breathed last at the age of 83 yrs in the ancestral house at Sangti village in Sanjouli here on Wednesday.
The last rite was performed here attended by Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Shimla Municipal Corporation, Mr. Sanjay Chauhan and Mr. Tekinder Singh Panwar along with Government Officers and Officials, number of prominent persons and media-men.
