Manali: Three persons, including two children, were killed and fourteen others injured when their vehicle skidded off the Naggar-Jana road, yesterday morning and rolled about 500 feet down the hillside near Nagger, 22 Kms from here in Kullu district.
Seven of those injured in the accident are stated to be serious and are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Kullu, police said.
The deceased have been identified as Uday Prakash, his three-year-old son Gopal Sagar and one-year-old Hitesh.
The occupants of the ill-fated Tata Sumo were members of a marriage party returning back home.
The accident took place at the same spot where 11 persons had died on June 18 last when a Tata Sumo had rolled down the gorge.
A case has been registered and investigations are on to ascertain the cause of the accident, police said.
