Dharamsala: A car accident during the Janamashtmi celebrations in Sakoh near Dharamsala costed the life of two men yesterday night.
Three youngsters were on their way to arrange for a generator after the electric supply had failed around 11.40 p.m. last night, when their car as it was approaching Shiv Mandir, in lower Sakoh, the driver lost control and the vehicle skidded off the road and rolled into the nearby Nallah, a spokesman for the district police disclosed.
Jagroop Singh (42) and Sanjeev Kumar (30) were declared brought dead by the doctors at Zonal Hospital, Dharamsala. The condition of the third occupant in the car is stated to be critical.
