Jerusalem, June 4 (IANS) Israel’s under-21 football team made its final preparation for the kick-off of UEFA’s U-21 Championship.
The UEFA U-21 tournament, hosted for the first time by Israel, will take place June 5 to 18 and will be played here, Tel Aviv, Netanya and Petah-Tikva. Eight teams including England, Italy, Norway, Germany, Spain, Russia, Netherlands as well as the host country will compete in the tournament, reports Xinhua.
Before the tournament, Israel’s Under-21 football team made its final preparation at the team train ground in Kibbutz Shfaim. This is Israel’s second appearance in the final tournament after their 2007 debut in the Netherlands.
