Singapore, June 2 (IANS/WAM) Visiting UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Singapore President Tony Tan Keng Yam held talks on ways to boost bilateral relations.
The Singapore president also hosted a banquet in honour of the heads of delegations participating in the 12th Asia Security Summit (or The Shangri-La Dialogue 2013).
Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the importance of enhancing economic and trade relations in the energy and investment sectors.
Earlier, Sheikh Abdullah also met US Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel and discussed topics related to the US approach towards regional security.
