Chennai, June 7 (IANS) The top two seeds N Sriram Balaji and Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan expectedly entered the singles final in the BR Adityan-GNC ITF Men’s Futures tennis tournament here Friday with straight set victories.
Top seeded Balaji roared past Prajnesh Gunneswaran 6-1, 6-1 while Nedunchezhiyan overcame eighth seeded Karunoday Singh 6-3, 6-3. Earlier in the day, Gunneswaran got past fourth seeded Japanese Toshihide Matsui who retired with the scores reading 6-7(5), 7-6(4), 4-1, in the Indian’s favour.
Balaji and Nedunchezhiyan also entered the doubles final where they take on Arun Prakash Rajagopalan and South African Keith-Patrick Crowley.

Singles: 1-N.Sriram Balaji bt Prajnesh Gunneswaran 6-1, 6-1; 2-Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan bt 8-Karunoday Singh 6-3, 6-3.
Doubles:2-Arun Prakash Rajagopalan / Keith-Patrick Crowley (RSA) bt Mohamed Fariz and PC Vignesh 6-2, 6-3; 1-N Sriram Balaji / Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan bt Zach Ichstein / V Vignesh 6-3, 6-2.
