London, June 19 (IANS) South Africa riding on crucial knocks from David Miller and Rory Kleinveldt posted 175 all out in 38.4 overs against England in the first semifinal of the Champions Trophy at The Oval here Wednesday.
Miller (56 not out) and Kleinveldt (43) shared a superb 95-run stand for the ninth wicket after South Africa were reduced to 80 for eight.
Spinner James Tredwell was the pick of the bowlers, bagging three for 19 while pacer Stuart Broad also picked up three wickets but gave away 50 runs. Pace spearhead James Anderson also got two for 14.
