Ranchi, June 15 (IANS) Seven Maoist guerrillas, including a top leader, were arrested from different areas of Jharkhand Saturday, police said.
Tulsi Pahan, zonal commander of People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI), was arrested with three cadres in Ramgarh district. Three more PLFI Maoists were arrested in Ranchi.
Police recovered two weapons, live cartridges and other incriminating documents from them.
More than 300 Maoist guerrillas have been arrested in Jharkhand this year. Maoists are active in 18 of the 24 districts of the state.
