New Delhi, June 14 (IANS) It was a pleasant morning in the capital Friday with minimum temperature settling at 27.8 degrees Celsius, average for this time of year. The Met department has forecast cloudy sky with light rain and thunder shower in some areas.
“The sky will remain cloudy, with rain and thunder showers in some areas of the city,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius, added the IMD official.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 79 percent.
Thursday’s maximum temperature stood at 32.8 degrees Celsius, six notches below the season’s average, while minimum temperature settled at 30.3 degrees Celsius, three notches above average.
