Los Angeles, June 3 (IANS) Actress Jessica Chastain has dismissed reports that she is in the running to play former secretary of state Hillary Clinton in a new biopic.
Reese Witherspoon, Amanda Seyfried, Scarlett Johansson and two-time Oscar-nominee Chastain have reportedly been shortlisted for the role by film bosses, who are planning a story of Hillary’s formative years as a young lawyer.
The film is titled “Rodham”.
However, according to contactmusic.com, Chastain is baffled by the reports.
During a press conference at Saturday’s Chime for Change concert in London, she said: “No, that’s actually not true. I found out about the project online… There’s a lot of stuff out there.”
