New Delhi, June 13 (IANS) Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Thursday said that it supported the government decision to bring in an ordinance on the National Food Security Bill.
“It was decided to bring in an ordinance on the national food security bill, and we support that decision,” NCP leader D.P. Tripathi said.
“We are in full support of the ordinance, and we are a part of the government,” Tripathi said.
Earlier NCP leader and Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar had expressed reservations over the ordinance and favoured a detailed discussion in parliament on the food security bill.
