New Delhi, June 8 (IANS) Hot and sultry weather conditions continued in the national capital Saturday with the maximum temperature settling a notch below average at 39.8 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast similar weather Sunday.
“Sunday will be sunny and hot. The maximum and minimum temperatures will hover around 41 and 30 degrees Celsius,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The minimum temperature Saturday settled at 29.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above average. The maximum humidity was recorded at 73 percent.
Friday’s maximum temperature settled a notch below average at 39.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 25.7 degrees Celsius, two notches below average.
