Dehradun, June 26 (IANS) The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Wednesday said foot operations were on in the hills of Uttarakhand to recover the bodies of those killed in flash floods.
Para-commandos and ITBP men based in Gaurigaon were conducting the search, ITBP Inspector General Inder Singh Negi told reporters in Gauchar.
ITBP’s Deputy Inspector General Amit Prasad said: “We will send more personnel to complete the rescue operations with the main focus on the Badrinath and Harsil valleys.”
