New Delhi, June 5 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit pulled up Delhi’s major power distribution companies under the BSES, saying the government will not tolerate its inefficiency and insensitivity towards consumers.
“In a meeting with BSES chairman Lalit Jalan Wednesday, Dikshit asked him to eliminate to eliminate outages and improve their response system,” an official of the Delhi government said.
The government is deeply concerned over reported outages in various parts coming under the jurisdiction of BRPL and BYPL which come under BSES.
The meeting was also attended by Power Minister Haroon Yusuf, Principal Secretary (Power) Shakti Sinha.
