New Delhi, June 10 (IANS) After experiencing a sultry Monday which saw a maximum temperature at 41.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above average, the capital might have rains Tuesday and the mercury might dip significantly.
While the minimum temperature settled at 29.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above average, humidity wavered between a high and low of 73 and 37 percent.
“The sky will be cloudy Tuesday and rain and thunderstorms are expected,” said an official of the India Meteorological Department here.
Tuesday’s maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 36 and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively.
