BJP hits out at Himachal congress for promoting contractors

Shimla: Buoyant after Narender Modi has been made election committee incharge, the state unit of BJP has hit out at Congress for promoting contractors and protecting leaders involved in dubious land deals.

BJP spokesman Chander Mohan Thakur and party vice president Rajiv Sajjal in a communiqué have questioned state congress president Sukhvinder Singh Sukku’s association with two construction company’s, alleging that these concerns continue to get protection from the party president.

The BJP leaders also mention that the two concerns in question, SS Constructions and RS Constructions, were even raided by CBI but no action has followed after that.

The opposition party has asked the government to disclose what the outcome of the raids on these companies was.

Congress has become a party of fixers and contractors, state the duo, so  much so that even the state party president is one who has risen from being a contractor, state Thakur and Sajjal

Defending allegations over land deals, the BJP leaders have pointed out a congress leader bought 700 Kanals of land in Hamirpur on 30.3.2012.

Without naming anybody, Thakur and Sajjal have demanded how the unnamed congress leader amassed so much money to buy such a large tract of land needed to be made public.
