Mumbai, June 7 (IANS) Successful Bollywood producer and TV czarina Ekta Kapoor turned 38 Friday, and members of the big and small screen worlds took to Twitter to wish the “super woman”, who is “inspiring” to some and a “lovely boss” to other.
Be it her friends like filmmaker Karan Johar and Sanjay Gupta or actors like Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy – they didn’t miss the chance to wish the strict and talented producer a “Happy Birthday” on the social networking platform.

Ekta, daughter of veteran actor Jeetendra, began TV production in 1995 with the comedy show “Hum Paanch”, and went on to produce over 70 shows under Balaji Telefilms.
“Koshish… Ek Aasha” as well as “Kyunkii… Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi”, “Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii”, “Kkusum … Ek Aam Ladki Ki Kahani” and “Kasautii Zindagii Kay” are some of her shows which went on to become hugely popular.
For the big screen, she has delivered differentiated content with movies like “Shor In The City”, “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai”, “Ragini MMS” and “The Dirty Picture”, under her filmmaking banner Balaji Motion Pictures.
