Hyderabad, June 3 (IANS) After a gap of five years, Andhra Pradesh Monday re-constituted the state women’s commission.
Former state minister and social activist Tripurana Venkataratnam will be the chairperson.
Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy also appointed six other women as members of the panel.
The members are Paruchuri Jamuna, Sunita Krishnan, Thoti Malleswari, Mukala Kasturi and L. Feroz Begum.
The Scheduled Tribe category member would be nominated separately, said an official statement.
