London, June 16 (IANS) Singer Adele has been recongised for her services to music and awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
The British monarch Queen Elizabeth II presents the awards each year. The “Skyfall” hitmaker was recognised for her services to music Saturday, reports contactmusic.com.
The 25-year-old singer is said to be worth 30 million pounds and has sold seven million albums in the Britain alone.
