New Delhi, May 1 (IANS) It was a warm day in the national capital Wednesday with the maximum temperature settling at 39.3 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a cloudy Thursday.
The minimum temperature settled at 22.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below average for this time of the season.
The humidity wavered between a high and low of 47 and 13 percent.
“The sky will be partly cloudy Thursday. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 38 and 23 degrees Celsius,” said an IMD official.
Tuesday was warm and sunny. The maximum temperature was recorded at 39.2 degrees Celsius, one notch above average, and the minimum was 24.3 degrees, average for this time of the season.
