Los Angeles, May 30 (IANS) Stand-up comedian-actor Zach Galifianakis, who plays Alan Garner in “The Hangover” franchise, says director Todd Phillips changed his life.
Zach and Phillips have worked together in four movies, namely “The Hangover”, “The Hangover Part II”, “Due Date” and forthcoming movie “The Hangover Part III”, and Zach says he shares similar sense of humour with the director.
“I hate to say it, but he (Phillips) changed my life. When a director sees your stand-up and says, ‘You would be good for a movie,’ I’m just very fortunate that it just happened that way,” Zach said in a statement.
Zach would love to work with the director again as both of them share similar sense of humour.
“I didn’t know much about Todd, but we’ve done four movies together and I would like to do another movie with him simply because he and I do share a very, very similar sense of humor, in that we like to make people laugh at the inappropriate jokes that they almost question themselves why they are laughing. He and I both love that,” he added.
“The Hangover Part III” also stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Leslie Chow. The movie is based in Las Vegas and is set to release May 31 in India.
